Spire of Abomination

Long ago a tragedy decimated the population of a mountain town, so many were slaughtered.  The bloodstained town was abandoned and shunned--a nexus of evil energy.  As the silent years passed, the empty, ruined town began to dream...such dark and horrid nightmares.  As the bitter psychic energy hit its apex, a tower grew at the epicenter of the town, letting forth a hollow scream that tore through dimensions.  Ectoplasmic miasma began pouring outward from the unholy spire, tainting the cold winds with bleak pestilence.  The spire's aura could be felt for miles.
